Here are before and after pictures of the front of my 1990 Suburban. I replaced the parking lights, and spray painted the grill flat black. It looks so much better!

the new lights look great, not fond of the full painted grille, but that's just me. I would have left it or kept the center strip chrome.

10" with 38s today. I also run 42" TSLs. Lowering it 2" this month though. Lots of pics and video in my build thread.

Thanks.

Looks good. But FYI, my stock lenses polish up REALLY well with a good buffing ball and some meguires Plastix polish. I was blown away. New quality? Probably not, but VERY close. I just polish them up every couple of months.

Don't listen to that guy. Looks awesome. Way better!
:haha: hey! I painted my s10 grille to match the rest of the truck's black, but I left the center strip chrome. I think it looks better than the all black s10 extreme grilles.

90burb: Looks good either way, I'm sure it helps hide the chrome's age.:waytogo:
munepit: I like the chrome ring you still have :flipoff10::haha::haha:

I broke out some flat black for the blazer too, but I still like a little contrast with the chrome. :waytogo:

I've done this to my Mom's car whenever I work on or barrow it. I just use some body wax though, works great, even aluminum wax works decent. :waytogo:

All I did was sand it really well. Probably wont last a really long time, but it looks good for now.:dunno:
Ya, that is what I am worried about. My stocker is destroyed on my '90 burb and I can't find an after market one I like. Just thinking of buying a whole new stocker and painting it black (exactly like yours).
