I am looking for advice on installing factory AC in my 74 K5, I have all the components to make this happen.
I am at the point of completing the body work and the only step left is to retrofit the firewall and I am very apprehensive of doing this, especially since the tube is virtually rot or rust free. Again, I would like to connect with anyone who has also completed this conversion would be great. If vintage air is the only real option than I will go with no AC at all.

I did on a 74 k5.
I had a donor truck and I cut the whole area out and grafted it on, and I installed all the OEM parts from the donor truck.
It wasn't bad and yes, my firewall was rust free and so was the donor.
The donor truck had a pretzel frame
