Take it to a print shop with a huge paper guillotine and have them carefully slice off the end of the book where the glue is and then have them punch holes in it for a three-ring binder.
After that you can take dividers and do your own sectioning of the contents!

That's a good idea....I was going to pull the book apart and electronically scan every page, then index them in whatever way made sense to me. Maybe with "keywords" for each page so I could find relevant matches when I'd search?

It is bad but could be worse. Once you look at it a few hundered times you figure out it is grouped where you can open it to the general area, but you still have to thumb through the pages to find what you want if it is actually in there. I have though about taking mine apart, but too lazy to get it done.
