Hello all I have a 1987 Chevy 1/2 Ton 4x4 with Maroon carpet does anybody know what it was called or the factory code?

Thanks

Sorry I can't help with specifics, but I'm wondering if that's on the RPO list on the sticker in the glove box.

There are a bunch of RPO "decoders" online, I know it's not going to be a code starting with G, L, M, or J :)

if its the same as my 88 blazer the code is
77I = INTERIOR TRIM - DK MAPLE INTERIOR TRIM COLOR(77I)

I have an '88 with Dk Maple (maroon) interior. I also just installed an ACC carpet kit into it this weekend. I ordered Oxblood since it was the closest color. Came out good. I can take pics later if you want.

RockAuto sells ACC carpet kits also. Cheaper than stockinteriors website.

Like I said, the carpet color is oxblood from ACC, the interior panels are SEM Color Coat 'Napa Red' which is a perfect match for the original maroon-ish trim color. The seat is factory except it was just shampooed. If you look at the small carpet piece by the rear footwell, it's the original 26 year old carpet. I will either dye it with the SEM or use the somewhat cheaper-looking ones that came with the ACC kit. The carpet is slightly lighter than the trim which is the way it was before I tore it down (best I can remember). The flash makes it look a little funny. I'll try to get a better pic later.
