Does anybody have a good parts diagram of the factory cruise control stuff?

Mid 80's on the turn signal lever is where the controls are. Not sure what I'm missing under the dash or in the engine bay. I seem to remember a large vaccum acutated piece that controls the throttle. What all else is there?

Hang on see if I still have it on photobucket. BRB

Here is under the hood Still looking for the dash area not much under it.

Under the dash next to brake area box goes there I can scan Sunday if you want.

That diagram is for a later truck. Mid 80's IIRC should have a transducer on the fenderwell with two speedo cables going to it (one from t-case to transducer, and another from transducer to speedo) and a simple electric plug that went to a switch on the brake pedal with a vacuum hose and then some wiring up to the cruise switch on the column lever.

From the 1987 Parts book. I do know the 1979 had what your talking about 4x4high. Oh well I guess I should of said what year. Sorry no foul!

MY 83 looks just like that as does my 91, well until I put the vortec together and had to "modify" the brackets.

Looks like I need to find a donor rig.... I think I'm missing alot.

Thanks!!

It is a plug in system an easy install hardest thing is the control switch on the stalk. If you have access to a cheap good tilt column it is easier to just switch them than feed new wires down old column.

Is the speedometer different for the cruise control trucks or do all of the speedos accept the sensor?
