Factory Decals and their Placements

Anybody have a mid seventies c/k anything that still has factory decals under the hood and in the door wells.

I am trying to pinpoint the locations of factory decals on my 1974 Blazer...

thanks to anyone who can help.

Under Hood:
1. Harrison sticker on Heater/AC Box
2. Frigidaire sticker on Compressor
3. Fan Warning (where ?)
4. Emissions (where?)
5. Jack instructions (where?)

I have a 79 K1500 that's all factory under the hood let me take a look tomorrow and see if the stickers are still in place. If so I will post some pics for you.

I have a mostly stock '76 w/air.

I'm working a bunch of double shifts, but may be able to get under the hood on Sunday, if that helps. I'm not sure what stickers are still in place, but I can snap pics of whatever is there.

The truck has been repainted once, so any factory stickers in the door jamb areas were probably blown over.

Ok Great...so emissions is to the left of the hood latch on the core support cap.

So that sticker goes on the quarter panel side of the jamb...is it really vertical?

The attention to detail back then wasnt on par with newer vehicles. My dads 70 Chevelle SS has crooked factory stickers all over, and the hood/trunk hinges were never painted from the factory. An easy way to spot a repaint actually.

I want to take this unique discussion of GM practices to another thread because this is something I have developed a keen interest in....I still want to get more photos of original GM decals from as many as have them on this thread.

The factory build manual specifies where the stickerd go. I've only seen the manual for the 82.

Here's a couple of pics from my 79 K1500 one's one the door, one's on the core support and one is on the AC compressor. It was dark when I did it I hope you can see them.
