I've got a 88 fullsize GMC jimmy sitting on the side of my house thats rotted out and has a blown rear. I got the truck for almost nothing, and have been taking off parts for my 86 K30. I noticed that the truck has factory dual front shocks with a mount riveted to the frame. Is there any reasonable way I can install this on my k30. I understand I have a dana 60 up front and it has a 10 bolt but can I use the braket on my truck? Just thought if I could it would be one of those nice additions. Any thoughts or comments are welcome.

Yeah, the setup is junk. :)

Buy yourself a good set of shocks, and completely forget about the quad shocks up front. They were designed to reduce fade because the old school shocks weren't as good as modern ones. All they do is add cost to shock replacement.

I have the dual shock set-up on my Jimmy with a Dana 60 in the front. With this set-up, the brake calipers hit the shocks when making sharp turns. I wouldn't recommend put that particular dual set-up on your K30 with a Dana 60 in the front.
