Factory Lift?

I recently bought a 1989 K5 that looks to me to possibly have a lift kit but not of the aftermarket nature.The front leaf springs still have the negative
arch.The back leaf springs have no blocks present and look original.It currently has 33s and still has plenty of clearance.I owned a 79 K5 years ago
that I installed a 4" lift on and this 89 seems to sit about the same height.It also has the factory quad shocks up front.Can anybody shine some light on this for me?

Maybe it has a body lift. How much space is there between the frame rail and the body?

No body lift.Good point though.

Was it a county or state service vehicle originally? Some of them were bought by the state with HD suspension for mountainous driving like for the forest service.

There was an original ZR2 or Z71 package that came in mid to late 80's trucks. 4" from the factory. I use to have one.
