Are these things really rare or something? I personally had never seen factory installed buckets in a '73-'87 pickup (except crew cab) until today when I came across a pair at the junkyard. Are they valuable to resell, or should I just hang on to them in case I ever need them? They were in an '80 stepside longbed of all things. 3 on the tree too.

Seems to me they'd be the same thing as K5 seats, just in a pickup? Maybe the rarity of the package would make a numbers matching truck be more valuable, but I would think the seats themselves would be normal bucket prices?

Idk how rare they are but I have them in my truck. I'm pretty sure someone ordered mine back in the day from the factory how they wanted it since its and 87 Stepside, 350, sm465 with buckets and console.

I havent seen many personally.

The seats themselves are nothing special, they do look just like a pair of Blazer buckets. But the mounting brackets are nothing like Blazer or Burb/Crew Cab units.

So they were still available in '87, eh? Weird that such a low-production option would still be available then.

My first truck when I was 16 had them, it was a 79 3/4 ton 4x4 it was oddly optioned now that I look back at it air, tilt, buckets and console, 350,400/203, blue with white interior. since I sold that truck I have not seen another.

My dad has a 77 K30 with buckets and a console there rareish

The brackets are the same as Crew Cabs and suburbans but are different form blazers

If you get them be sure to get the front mounting tabs that are welded to the floorpan.

These brackets are NOTHING like the ones in my Burb. The pass side looks like a factory afterthought and does not slide or flip in any way. Very chinsy actually. It was a single cab.

I got them, but the tabs on the floor were a no-go. They looked easy enough to fabricate though.

also depends on the year When I've swapped in Buckets I've ALWAYS used Suburban seats and brackets from 81-91 suburbans the picture below is the brackets you need that spot weld to the floor , sorry I dont have any pics of the brackets that bolt to the seat but they are different than Blazers but SHOULD be the same as CrewCabs and 'Burbs because the front floor sections are simular
