the bushing are shot on the rear shackle so I go to the only place in town (lame) that sells bushing, they tell me that the bushings cant be replaced because there is no outer sleeve and I have to replace the whole shackle, well I call bull**** on that, Im sure some you have ran into this problem before, can someone point me in the right direction ( for a 90K5)

thay are correct to a point.

you can not replace it with the same bushing you take out. as it has the shackle wraped around the bushing rubber when made new.

3 things to do.

#1 = buy new shackles .

#2 = buy new polly bushings and install these in the old shackles.

#3 = buy new hd shackles that come with polly bushings from some of the vendors here.

Ya, that's bull. With most with most aftermarket bushings you have to take the outer sleeve out anyway to use them. I"ve got an extra set of bushings if you need them. I think the years are compatible. Your shackle eye needs to have an inside diameter of 1.5 inches and be able to accept a 9/16 bolt. I'm in Las Cruces, so let me know.

 What he said :D, cheapest option would be #2, check summit (or whoever you like) and pick up some poly bushings. Option #1, I know LMC sells the stock shackles with factory style rubber bushings for around $30 each IIRC. Option #3 check DIY4X, Kert sells a HD version of the shackles and I think he also sells just poly bushings as well.
