I am in the restoration process and I am having my stickers remade for my 1985 K5 Blazer with the 6.2L Diesel.

I have great photos of all sticker except for the door sticker shown below. I can come up with most of the information but I cannot read the bottom area hardly at all .. It does have the VIN on the last line so that is easy.

I am looking to see if anyone may still have a door sticker from 1985 that is legible that can share the information with me enough to have my REPOP created. Unfortunately when my doors were glass bead blasted the sticker was not removed prior to blasting.

I can almost make out the GVWR on left Need help with GAWR FRT ... The GAWR RR is legible and the entire lower section i can make out bits and pieces.

Anyone that can share what is supposed to say, I would be very grateful for their help.

Thanks in advance !!Door Jamb Information.jpgIMG_9788.JPG

Here is an image of my VIN/GVWR tag. It is a little different from yours because my square body is a V/R series from 1988 to 1991, but the info on it is the same.

Thanks ... That definitely helps ... especially the "This Vehicle Conforms .... "
truly appreciate the help.

The only problem with the CONFORMS part is mine is a federal emissions vehicle. As long as your truck is not from California then the CONFORMS part is OK.

I'm Good ... from Flint Michigan to Texas ... However, the more i scrutinize the picture I have ... mine shows .... "Applicable Federal" ..... and not "Applicable U.S. Federal" ... as yours shows ... all the other information i can make out knowing what it is supposed to say .. Not sure if this is true because mine is older or a diesel or just because ...

Here's mine sorry for the overspray on the bottom part but I'm a sucky painter. You can see the VIN number stamped on the very bottom. My truck had tiny tires once and was very light LOL...IMG_20230530_191120058_HDR~2.jpg

Thanks to all .. Between these stickers, I should be able to send the information to VInslabel to get this one created.

So far they have been very good to work with. They did not have most of mine in their selection so they are going to have to create mine.

Are the VIN stickers reasonably priced? I'd love to see the quality once you receive yours. Do you have to send them your old VIN sticker?

I've done a full top conversion on my 91 but never wanted to cut my doors to match (currently using tube doors) because the VIN sticker is on the upper window frame - weird, I know. I might consider cutting the doors if I can get a replacement sticker.

Mine was halfway between the door latch and the top where it rolled over to conform to the roof ... so I understand. Not between the latch and floor like a lot I have seen.

To order, you need a good non-blurry picture and the size of the sticker. I am ordering 9 stickers and they are expensive as they did not have mine in there "File" so there was going to be a lot of graphics design I am paying for. The positive thing is for possible future folks like us once mine are created, others with the same should be able to get a better price.

It is going to take about 2 weeks to get the stickers and I will post pictures when I get them.

One thing to know ... you are supposed to order via a Body Shop when using the VIN to be on a sticker. They will take a picture of your title as proof of ownership before they will create ... I take this as a great thing. !

I pdf'ed my list then saved as JPEG to send with the pictures to get the sizes to them.

Here is my list being made.

On the 1988 sticker above they added "U. S." between Applicable Federal which pushed it over to the next line .. I guess they wanted it to be "Squared " off ... on the previous years ... LOL ....

This will sound crazy, but I guarantee you someone on Etsy can make virtually any and all these stickers. Send them some good photos of what you have and I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised. We're living in the future!

@nvrenuf here are the Stickers I had made for my restoration. They forgot to make the "Jumping Instructions" but they are making it now. Also My Glovebox RPO Codes sticker was in Grey and they reproduced it in blue thinking mine had faded. I am having them redo this sticker, however, I plan to purchase it and have a Blue one and a grey one. No reason to let it go to waste.

There was one more glovebox sticker about a camper warning I am going to have them make and that should cover all of my Sticker for the restoration, both Inside and outside. This is the last next to last Picture ... My service Parts Identification is the last one ...

They will ship sometime later this week when they are all competed.

I am looking forward to seeing the final product and how they feel.

The Door Jamb Sticker turned our really nice.
