Failed CA SMOG

Everything out the door was $950. Cat muffler new pipe with 4 inch tip.
WHEW! not too bad considering the prices on everything else these days. I think I paid about 650 bucks for a cat, muffler, and all new piping back in 2010-ish, and i was quoted MUCH higher from a few people at the time.

I'm fairly confident the cat on my 1988 is destroyed and will also need to be replaced this April when it comes due for testing. nice to know it can be done for "less than toyota" prices.
when the cats were stolen out from under my tundra a few years ago? it sat at a dealership for 60 days waiting for new cats to get here from japan... and when they arrived?
the total bill for 2 cats, 4 gaskets, and an air/fuel meter including installation (they just bolted straight in -because thief didn't cut the truck side of the flanges) was over $5500.00
