fairleads?

i was told that this fairlead will tear up my winch line, it's cast but it's not aluminum, do i need to get one that is aluminum before i use my winch?

Nah , thats OK , as long as the opening stays smooth . Guys here use thos all the time , they are cheaper and onhand at most shops .

Don't keep the shackle there , don't wanna nick the opening so your syn rope stays nice !!
