Posting up for bowtiered, he says his fan belts keep flipping over. Also says his crank pulley has a few dents in it, could this be causing it?

That is a possible reason. Or possibly that the pulleys are not within a resonable alignment (although they are very forgiving compared to a serpentine belt).
