It's a 87 full size Jimmy. The wire going to the blower was always hot, so I checked the ground and conections, all were OK . I also replaced the fan control relay & blower motor. I'm assuming the wire cault on fire which burnt the relay (it was all flaming up). Any info on this will be appreciated.

Looks like (according to Haynes) there is:
1-Blower motor
2-Hi blower relay
3-Blower resistors
4-Blower switch
5-Selector control

If you don't have wiring diagram, maybe I can run it thru the scanner & email to you if it'd help.
Does it "fry" they wire right away? or does it happen over a period of time?

Was the wire pinched or somethin exposing bare copper? The wire was tryin to carry to much juice and that's why it went up.

Good luck to ya in the future.
