Fan Shroud??

I went and flex a little bit today and my fan was rubbing on the shroud. Its really loud and annoying. Has anyone trimed the shroud or just removed it. I know removing it will not give the proper air flow. I remember seeing a post about the winstar fan mod.. anyone have pics???? thanks

Mine is trimmed, and trimmed ugly at that. Its fine though, no worries about cooling. Just cut it.

if your fan hits the shroud, it usually means your radiator mounts are shot.

Thats not always the case....my burb has brand new bushings and the fan hits the shroud if it flexs lots.
