I picked up my first Dodge truck yesterday, a 1991 W250 CTD with a five speed.

It's not intercooled, but . . . the getrag was recently replaced with an NV4500, meaning I get both the NV4500 and the 29-spline NP205 with one truck :saweet:
Engine has about 160K miles on in with new injectors. Both the tranny and t-case were rebuilt in the last two years.

The engine, tranny, tcase are going into my '82 CC, the remainder will be parted out.

I'm pumped :haha:

Nice find, I have lots of time and $$ putting my drivetrain togeather. Is your 91 4wd & how much was it?

By any chance are you interested in doing a complete detailed write up on the swap?

I paid $2700, or about $2500 US.

I'll try to document the conversion thoroughly ;) but I have this tendency of forgetting the camera when things start going nicely. I've already been driving the dodge around and tweaking the pump, it's a lot of fun :-).

Here she is :D

And this is what's getting the drivetrain . . . . those are H1 wheels on dually axles with 35" BFG M/T KO's and nothing but a 1" body lift . . ..

I like the big pics, but I'm not a moderator.. lol That's an awesome score! Does that have a front D60 too?

I had a '78 3/4t GMC with no lift and 35's. Fairly rusty fenders.... I was trying to get 33's but the guy at the tire shop talked me into 35's. Funny how 35's don't look that big on a FS.

Yep it does, kingpin 60 up front identical to a Chev 60 front. Only difference is the spring mounts are .5" farther apart, and the TRE mount sits an inch or so higher on the knuckle.

I figure it was a pretty good deal :D
