David posting on Andy's comp....sorry about the size. Pure laziness. :D He sed he'd put the vids up in a bit. Don is the master of field radiator repair. He rolled the damaged tubes and towed his popup 2 hours home thru the mntns without a problem. Props. The michelins seem to work very well. And they run perfectly smooth on the street, no balancing weights. Andy has a bunch for sale :D

no pix of my drive shaft? :o
i didnt get any pix. rick has a few though so he should be sending them soon. I had so much fun, going again as soon as the beast is fixed :p:

i didnt see any brake smoke in the last pic david :haha: :haha:

Hey shippy let me know what you need help with. Guess its a good thing we are going to the junkyard this weekend eh? Also what is this driveshaft picture? Fess up.

Ira

lol i didnt get a pic of it, was asking david if he had. after i pulled the dodge,prelude/sandbox,jeep outta the gorge :p: , i went wheelin a little and bumped front tire to a sand hill and front drive shaft twisted clean off. was pinched so tight it couldda held water

i need to find a new radiator mouting though and im getting an electric fan- this is the 3rd time this has happened.

u need to get ure stuff and get over here so we can put ure axles on and then go camping with us so there is someone else to laugh at :D

Yep I remember Corral Canyon. There should be no problem finding a radiator hold down or possible even a radiator. I would just get a new radiator though that way you know what you are getting. Hell you might even find a drive shaft :D . If not there is East County Driveshaft across the street from me and from what I here they do good work.

Ira

david does a good job on making drive shafts so ill pass, might pick up a spare rear on thoough. my weekend has been cleared for repairs, wanting to go back out there soon before everyone smooths out the fun stuff

I am still waiting on Shane to let me know when the 4" fronts are ready to ship so I can pay him. I just ordered rims I might just put the 1-tons in with no lift and lift later and then put the 37s on. I gotta grind calipers on the Dana 60 get brake hardlines for the 14FF and since I am going to lift it I am going to put the extended brake lines on when I do the axle swap so I only have to bleed the brakes once :D . Maybe we could try to set up the 14FF this weekend after the JY run. OH ya I gotta go to national spring and have them make some U-bolts.

Yeah yeah....dumb ABS.... :D :D

Don't think I got any dshaft pix.

Electric fans can be hard on the alternator. Just put a radiator in it and bring it down so we can figger out why it's doing that. Maybe your front clip/radiator support or something is loose and bumping into the dirt pushed it around. Did that in my J**P once. One way or the other, we should be able to fix it, make it secure.

Oh and need to fix that battery tray thingy too...

Mebbe I'll get my 38s on my dodge and fix my 4wd. Or get my J**P rolling :D I'd like to eventually one-ton it with a 6.2 or 6.5 and michelins.

Fender trimming/hacking, spool, gears, michelins, ram assist, you'll be good to go...til the 44 in the front breaks :D

Yo, Roz...I was thinking...I've got a suspicion that your radiator may be falling out cuz you don't have the fan shroud in...it goes around it and captures it, maybe helps hold it in.

Ya we were looking for one at the Junkyard yesterday. The only one we found in the time we had was not wide enough. It was out of a Chevy van.

Ira

Yeah, i was looking, but it seems the rad i have is huge, i pulled the rubber gromets off the van 4 core one and it is still almost an inch to narrow. ive never seen a desiel set up before, but i think i have it. everything i get from the auto store is too small

Need to beat on Andy...mebbe tonite. Haha, last night he was out terrorizing trick or treaters in the Chevy.
