I've got some ORD shackles and an extended rear brake line to install and I should be ready for a spin at Corral Canyon in a month or so. I've got a ton of weddings to attend this year and that is hurting my progress. Is anybody going to that area in around June/July? I'd like to do the main loop around there first and then maybe hit Bronco (if the roll cage is done by then). I've never done that trail yet and want to follow somebody that has, especially if I have my kids with me. I've done sidewinder which is "difficult" in my so-cal off road book, but the Bronco trail supposedly is a little more difficult. I'm almost ready broinslo!
Right on. I'll come show you how it's done in my wife's stock 4Runner.
Not sure what I'll be driving then actually. My brother sold the 1 tons out from under the CUCV I was gonna buy from him...might buy a cheap 4x4 and wail it to death until I can get something built for real.
That is great lookin. I want one. I am going to have to add that to the Fabricating list of things to build. I need to come up with something to get more shock travel out of the front susp.
Not really any wheeling, but some awesome washes for blasting down in the runna, and cool caves, slot canyons, and formations etc for climbing on foot. And talk about scenic vistas...
Here's some links to pics, not mine I didn't take many, should have. This area would make a good family run, places for kids to play, camp, etc. After it cools off, of course.
