Had to take Ben to the emergency room again tonight, looks like another UTI. Probably shouldn't go cavorting up and down California with all the hospital bills about to hit.

Urinary Tract Infection. One of the one-way valves between his kidneys and bladder doesn't work so the bladder backflushes back into the kidney instead of out into his diaper.

Hopefully he is not in pain and is healed fast.

Mel's taking him to Sandy Eggo specialist tomorrow. Maybe get surgery and get it fixed.

I found them and we welded up and stuck them in Ira's D60

You never made it up this way did you.

Was the race the 250 Mile one held from about 7PM to 1AM or so on June 10th? If so, I had a chance to work pit crew for a local team out there. I should have went, but the timing was bad since I already have 5 different projects going on.

I didn't make it up there...maybe in a week or two...like to get ken's CC off SCBD and chop it down, but have to sort out the hospital bill situation first.

Ben's fine when he doesn't come down with a UTI. They have him on some different antibiotics, seem to be working. He has a cyst in his bladder on top of the valve problem it seems. They are going to do corrective surgery a little later this summer.

That was the race..too bad you didn't make it! Who were you going to pit for? I went last minute, was actually working on my tree project at my friend's place which is very near Plaster City. Might start doing some race stuff (driveline) at the shop. Got some ideas brewing.
