Those were all off of his camera. The only ones I took with my camera were of the 208 rebuild and when Ira got stuck pushing me off of that first sand burm.

Where are those pics of me with the yoke buried in the sand:haha:

Ira

I do recall paying you back:haha:

Made it back. 6.0s and 454s are cool. :saweet: My trip cost my $190 in diesel, would have cost me $525 in gas with a 454 towrig Roz. :shame:

Glad you made it back OK. I really wish I was in town to help out.

PM me your address again. I deleted all my PM's the other week without thinking about it.

I would have liked to have seen you too. :doah:

It's OK though. I'll PM you my add. Or keep the $ and come help me wrench. :deal:  My K30 runs but needs the little stuff gone though. Hope it smogs...

How about I send you the cash and come out to help wrench when I get the time. I bet it is so hot out there now that all you would get out of me is a whole bunch of whining and bitching:haha:

I am not too good with the heat, but growing up in far northern NY I can handle the cold like "10 People"

I'm not planning on doing a whole bunch all at once. Just getting it going, getting tires on it. After summer heat I'll get serious. Any help is much appreciated. I have no wheeling/wrenching buddies, and brother Darryl left..

Ironically, I may be needing a 2wd sector shaft. HAHA!

I think that me and Ira will be hitting the junkyard soon so I can get a PS fluid cooler. I will keep an eye out for a sector shaft for ya.

75 W300 PTO question.

Should I go yank the PTO and convert the 203 to part-time and put a big PTO winch on my truck? Or sell it? OR (PTO guru Q) will the PTO fit my 205?????? I think 205 have provson for PTOs.

All these Dodge versions were passenger side differential, regular rotation (low pinion) gears, disc brakes, 35 spline inners, 30 spline outers, and kingpin knuckles. 1979-89 versions had external style hubs, with the earlier versions with full-time NP203 Transfer cases having external drive flanges, and later models having external lockout hubs. The external lockout hub bolt pattern is 8 x 3.960".

Maybe I'll keep this one for spare parts now that I have a truck with a 60. Or sell it. :D

Spent some time in the junkyard this AM with Arq of "Arq's D60 Locating Service" ;) THANKS man!

Got this front 60 out of a 1975 Dodge W30 Dually with service body. It's fulltime 4wd - no locking hubs, has 30 spline drive slugs. :doah: Has 5/8" studs and 1-1/8" nuts.

Think the 'case in an NP203 (full time 4wd) with a PTO and PTO Gearbox to bring the PTO shaft to the front of the truck. Big cast iron manual trans too...

This 60 may go up for sale depending on how things go next weekend. I may need it for my project. Maybe I'll go 4wheel steering to make up for my long wheelbase...:D

I dunno what gears it has. I spun the input 3 revs to 1 rev of the axleshaft.
The ring gear has numbers but nothing resembling a gear ratio. I'm retarded and forgot to write the numbers on the ring down. Looks brand new. Something like this:

"8 8 74 DANA longnumber longnumber 39-8" then a ways farther on it has "881" reading the other way. No tag on the cover. Mebbe I should go look at the rearend. :dunno: :what:
