oh crap Andy, i just found out what happened. my thoughts are with u and hopes for a speedy recovery. are u back in SD now? i have been to Jacumba about 7 times in the last month lol (94 is fun on a new bike). get well soon

Roz, you get my PM?

Coming down for Superstition this weekend anyone? Might go there and/or try to play in the snow up in the mntns.

Check the CalHiPo site for snow...

Give me a holler if you get your junk running and wanna meet up.

I thought I sent you a PM...I was looking at my K5, and noticed the shroud definitely holds the mounts and radiator. Did you ever find one?

mine isnt the same as ures (well pretty sure) think mine is outta a C20? no havent found one......not from lack of trying mind you.

i got it running and doing some dialing in right now. its running a whole lot better. think i found another 100 HP

Rolled the Blazer today.. Once over landed on the wheels in the sand. Hauled butt before I had 50 million J**Pers crawling all over me asking me dumb questions and telling me I shouldn't be wheeling a fullsize. Dented the roof, cracked the windshield, dented fender and door. No biggie, but the windshield is gonna be a pain to replace since the opening is out of shape. The worst thing was I had some windows open and the Blazer fillled up like a sandbox. Pics later...

Now that it's one-ton, it's too heavy....thinking about taking the whole drivetrain and stuffing it in the J**P or hacking the K5 to bits... still kinda a nice K5 though, power everything, AC and all...

How come I have to miss all the fun.

When I get back from MS I think I might want to swap a Crew Cab body onto my frame then chop the bed. I know someone here did it recently, just can't remember who???

Sounds easy huh?

It's not hard. I very much like the idea. I think MTMike got one on a shortbed. Check out the crew cab threads. If I can't get to liking this K5 I may go crewcab.

Tonight I put her on a 450lb or so diet. Top ?, doors 85lb ea, Tgate 116lb, hitch (bent it all up today) 45lb, hood 65lb , heavy floor mats 20lb, cheesy grill guard 35lb, anything else that i could unbolt that was not necessary. Part of why I rolled today was cuz she was too heavy and sunk in the sand on a sidehill. We'll see how she does tomorrow.

Endoed the Blazer off a dune tonight. Totaled... It's not my family's year. Andy almost died Jan 1, I rolled the blazer yesterday, grandma dies this am, and I almost die flipping the blazer end over end tonight. Not sure what I'm gonna do now...I might quit wheeling. If I do wheel again, whatever I wheel will have a full-on exocage. Both times I rolled I wasn't even pushing it, just snuck up on me, and I've never rolled before in years and years of wheeling. Pics and info later. Going to hospital to get checked out, but I think I'm OK.

Well, looks like we're all OK.

I might could use some help getting the blazer out tomorrow if anyone wants to come lend a hand or gawk. Prollly be ok wil what we have though.

seven six oh nine six oh one eight nine three is my cell.

Chevy wrangler, looks like I might not be selling that crew cab now since I killed the Blazer.

Now that we know everyone is OK where are the pics. Why not make a buggy out of it I am pretty sure you can still register it and drive to and from the wheelin spot.
