Is there a resource here or elsewhere for the fastener specs for these trucks? I've found a few piecemeal places...

If not, post in the specs you have and I'll update this post at the beginning. The ones I'm looking for at this moment are:

Front U-bolt - 5/8
Pitman Arm - 2wd (1-5/16 fastener - 7/8 thread)
TRE
Steering box mounts
Rag joint
5/8 Lug nuts

I've googled a few of these things and have gotten some wide variation on things so I'd like to make this a repository if possible to help people in the future.

I dont know of any good sites with all said info.

Im sure this could be a pissing match but ill just leave what ive researched / do.

U bolts are 120- 135. Again im sure you could do more or less but this is a perfect range imo.

The pitman arm nut calls for 175 i believe. My torque wrench only went to 150 so I confirmed 150 then gave it a bit mlre with a cheater bar.

Tre's I usually shoot for say 65 to 80 ftlbs. Once you're past 65 I start trying to line up the castle nut with the cotter pin hole.

Steering box. I dont aim for a certain torque on these. I would say I shoot for 40 to 50 ftlbs. I think locktite or something similar is equally important here.

Rag joint im not sure. Based off the ones ive take off id say near 35ftlbs but who knows if they were right tl begin with...again locktite or lock washer.

Lug nuts. I go to 80 to 85 ftlbs. Equally important to check them after youve driven around a bit. Aluminum wheels are very important to check but for my steel wheels I torque, roll the truck out of the garage, check them again, drive maybe 20 miles, check again and im done.

Thanks, I saw spreads on ubolts from 120 to 170 for 5/8 grade 8 and was like wtf...
