Favorite Lift: Rough Country vs. Sky Jacker

I'm Interested to hear what everyones favorite lift systems are, even if you like something other than Sky Jacker or Rough Country. I had Sky Jacker Softrides on my last truck and thought they were great. I've never even ridden in anything with Rough Country, but I hear a lot about them here, and man they have a great price!
What do you guys think?
 
I've got Skyjackers now and want to try out BDS springs soon.

I've heard a lot about the Rough Country's but I'm a believer in the Skyjackers for now. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I'm still trying to decide between Skyjackers or BDS for my '84 M1008. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif
 
I haven't heard of BDS before visting this site.

I just checked out their website, Isn't that DPs 90 K5 on their website for the example of their six inch kit?
 
there was a sub i saw today in the town parking lot with a BDS lift i noticed,... you guys wouldnt beileve it..5 trucks all chevys lifted with the works..2 subs, and three pickups..whats the odds? lol /forums/images/icons/grin.gif ..only ONE thing they were missing....CK5 STICKERS!! /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

i'm running skyjacker and wouldn't trade for nothin... i love the looks tj owners give me when they see my truck flexed out!!!! coil springs my a$$!!!
 
I like Superlift! They advertise a hefty spring rate, but I have seen most other brands flex and I think these flex just as nice of not better!(superrides)
 
I have the Rough Country 4" all spring lift on mine and am very happy with it. For me, it was the price that got me to buy it. Install was very straight forward and the ride is good (much better than stock was). Had always been told that with the 4" RC lift and 33's they'd never rub .. umm .. WRONG. The tire tore the fender trim off of the drivers side wheelwell the first time I took it out after installing the lift. Since then the springs have gotten a bit softer and the tires do rub the fenders with alarming regularity now.
 
<font color="green"> I have the 6" Superlift Softrides and am not that impressed by the flex they have, even with loosened clamps. My next set of springs will be the Tuff Country EZ rides, they are supposed to have the highest free arch and lowest spring rate. Should flex nicely... </font color>
 
From what I've heard the Tuff Country EZ rides are a little more stiff than the Sky Jacker soft rides, and are slightly limited by the cinch style clip? The use fewer thick leaves as opposed to multiple thin leaves which is supposed to be good.
 
ahh ill have to watch out..ill mostly be only mudding ..cuase i was going to go for the 4" spring rough country lift and 33's as well..

If you are only going to be mudding you really wont have a problem. Its not like I get the tires into the fenders everytime I turn. But when out playing on the rocks, and flexing it up a bit, it will get the tires into the fenders quite easily. I really should just trim the fenders and be done with it.
