Favorite oil for high milage 305

Honestly, if you know for a fact, you're going to be pulling the engine within the next year or so, just run the cheap stuff with at least a half way good quality filter, Napa Golds, Wix, one of those guys, change it regularly, It'll work for that time frame. I've done that a few times in the past.

Now my new engine in the 4wd Burb runs only full synthetic with Mobile 1 filter.

too bad it's having electrical issues and stuck in NE Indiana

I didnt read all the responses, but I run cheap oil with a quart of Lucas Motor treatment each oil change. 153,000 miles and still going go good. Im pulling 17-18hg on the vacuum gauge with a steady needle (old skool engine diagnostics and carb tuning)

I use Rotella Tripple T 15w40 like it was made out of hot secks and gold
