Andthey EAT cab room . Stick in the cab a bit and make you move the seat up so you better be short or have a crew cab . Saw one on a ext cab toyota once years ago .
Thats been for sale for about a year now. Tbh if it was in the $1500 range i would seriously consider it for my build.
Im really wanting a rear roll down window. I’ve been looking into the tundra rear window setup, which would be much easier to source parts when something breaks. Not sure if the CRL setup was meant to be used daily vs for shows. The tundra window is actually very similar in size based on the measurements i’ve taken, but its a matter of grafting it into the back of the cab.
At this point the CRL is probably just a NOS flex that wouldnt be practical for anything beyond cars & coffee use

I was amazed to see the kit for sale (NOS or used) since they are virtually nonexistent. I agree that it was probably not engineered with long term reliability in mind and just a show widget. I remember when those kits were actively for sale and it seems like it was for just a few years.
