Feedback on Blazer on Ebay

You better ask him about the axles.. The front axle looks like a 10 bolt to me... and the rear axle I can't tell from the picture. Also find out what gear ratio he is running in the axles... This will effect how long the tranny will live.

Thats one heck of an expensive >toy<. That thing probably has bumpsteer from hell, and probably has 4.56 ratio at the most. Looks nice though.

One From None

Nope! The axles are the D60 and 14FF!!! Look a little closer and you can see the steering arm/block combo on the front axle. I would definitely bet cash that these are the beefy axles!

I'm in San Jose, CA.

What price would something like the Ebay Blazer sell for?

Any other concerns on that Blazer? From the pictures, is it possible to tell if the lift was done properly? Tires? Anything else? I'm a newbie to all of this..

Thanks!

Last time I looked at it it was $6100 and still no reserve met... I have a feeling (especially if it has the D60/14FF combo, he'd put the reserve at 9 - 10,000. Just a guess though. Keep in mind it has a new engine too.

The only concerns I would have is if the 350 had enough power to turn the 44's, and if it would be to tall for the type of wheeling you wold be doing. Myself and one of my friends both have semi built up big blocks just to turn 35" tires, and one of my friends that still has a 350 (running 35's as well) can't wait till he can get get a bb. But i guess ti depends an how much you plan on wheeling it and what type of wheeling. or maybe I guess you could just put in a really low, low range. just my .02

Lowriders are for guys that can't get it up!

axe, did you try "Truck Trader"? I live in Fremont, and all the liquor stores sell it. You can find some good deals in it. Are you looking for a daily driver??

I did look closer. It isn't a 60. HE HAS LIFT BLOCKS ON THE FRONT AXLES! Geez. This thing is a serious trailer queen. Yes, it has 8-bolt hubs, so it probably has a 14-bolt rear, but it it still running the TH700 and 208, and probably a 3/4 ton 10-bolt up front. And anyway, he has lift blocks on the front axle, so I would have serious doubts about the way the rest of the thing was put together.

I gotta go with thatK30guy on this one. I think its a Dana 60 too. The pumpkin just looks bigger and I don't see the squared off corners on the bottom of the diff that the 10-bolts have.

Chevy good...Ford bad

Looks like a Dana 60 to me, easier to tell looking at the pic that shows the Blazer from the back, you can see a large center section, a 44 isn't that big. Keep in mind 44" tires would make a Dana44 look like a Dana 30.

One easy way to find out, just email the guy and ask.

Just talked to the seller (dealership). He said they were Dana 1 ton axles. What does that correspond to? Took more pictures too and will send them to me later.

The seller sent me more pictures... I put them at

What do people on the board think?

Thanks!

If you do get it here's a list of the things I would do:
1) Remove the blocks on the front lift!!
2) Remove the sun visor
3) Remove the upper 4 lights on the front of the brush guard
4) Remove the "Speed shop" sticker on the rear window
5) Broken windshield?? Have the price dropped by $200

Is it legal for the dealer to sell it with front blocks? Also why does it have a new engine if it only has "58k" on the odo? Sounds like a lot of work to me! Watch that dealer to he could be very shady. Gotta love those air horns on top though!!LOL
