I want to first thank Steve for allowing me to post this on this site. And then to ask all of you to take a moment to read this.
I recently had a member post on my website, it was the wife of a man missing, he is an avid four wheeler. 4x4,classic truck sites and other message groups are combining our efforts to help see that Dereck is returned home safely. Dereks family would greatly appreciate any help we can offer in bringing him home to them. The following is the news article on Derek.

Derek Crawford, a volunteer firefighter from Putnam County, has been missing since Monday, and his family is trying desperately to find him.
Crawford, who lives in Algood, Tennessee, was last heard from Monday night. That’s Crawford called his wife to say that a meeting he planned to attend had been cancelled and that he was stopping to pick up a propane tank.
Crawford, 39, is just over six feet tall and weighs155 pounds. He has dark hair, brown eyes and a salt and pepper beard.
He was last seen at an Algood convenience store driving his brother’s car, a dark blue or black 1991 or ‘92 four-door Saturn with Tennessee Dealer license plate is D47 509. That car was found Wednesday afternoon near the Cheatham/Davidson County line.
Police said a signal from Crawford's cell phone was last detected in the northwest Nashville area.
"(He's) happily married. He's got a wonderful 12 year-old little girl, and there would no reason for him to run off," Crawford's brother, Doug said.
"I can't fathom why he would need to be in Nashville for business or for anything else," said Angie Crawford, Derek's wife.
Crawford's family has been searching for him, and anyone with information about Derek Crawford has been urged to call the Algood police department at 931-537-6830, or the Putnam County Sheriff at 931-528-8484
