fender alignment, do you check it before cutting?

Do you guys check your fender alignment before you cut into them fenders? Not doing it myself but my horrible fender alignment has officially destroyed a tire. Chunks missing on the outer edge of my passenger front tire. Helps that the front axle is bent so that tire is toed in(the other tire is perfectly aligned). It got me to thinking, do you guys bother checking your fender alignment before you cut into them?
