Fender cutting question

http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207585&page=25

last page, last photo... (I think...)

That's what happened to my truck when I attempted to "trim" the rear fenders.

Carving sheetmetal is like getting ink. The first one you're a little apprehensive, but after that you just can't wait to do more. It's addictive...

This what happened to me... I started out with the spare tire hump removal, them BOOM! my back end was gone... hahaha:haha::haha:

Clod, this is supposed to still be the "go bet a bunch of plywood/drywall/insulation/1000lbs of gravel/etc" vehicle so I can't go quite so far as some of you folks have gone with the "trimming".

Supreme and Irork. Me likey. I don't think I'm going to need to trim the front towards the rear. I'm almost as trimmed now as the guy who clued me into this setup and he did nothing to his front suspension at all. I'll have 1" of lift and the axle will be at least 1" forward. Hopefully that will keep the tire off what little bit is left of the fender lip down there.
