I just failed my inspection big time & the man says I need fender flares, among other things.
So does anyone have pictures of their vehicles with flares?
I want to see pictures of all the flares available to us blazer folk before I go ahead.
Thanks,
Brian in NH

Here's some bushwacker flares,I got them from tyres international, they had the best pricing. you want to get the flares for the pickup, same body lines.

Oh yeah.....

In my excitement over the whole "No Smog" thing, I forgot that NH does vehicle inspections every year!

So what else didn't they like? Maybe I'd better keep my truck registered in CA when I move to the Granite State?....I will NOT install flares on my classic K5!

What else did they not like?
Oh the rust, the crappy body mounts, the fact that the front wheels come out further than the rear, the side exiting exhaust, a missing bolt on the steering gear, some loose bolts in general which they wouldn't even tighten up... I can't remember anything else.

Greg are you moving back to NH? Know anyone who does cheap body work?

Brian, still in NH where they do inspections every dang year...

Brian,

Yep....I should be living there in the next few months. It all depends on how long it takes to sell my house here, and get ALL my stuff packed.

As for bodywork, etc. No idea! I've been away for about 12 years, so I can't barely even remember how to get around town where I used to live!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have been spoiled by California vehicles (no rust) so that will be a harsh reality when I get back there. Looks like I'd better have a HUGE garage to store all my "good" vehicles for the winter.....far away from the road salt.

Greg,

What part of NH are you moving to?
We'll have to take our rigs out in the woods sometime.

Brian

Keene....SW corner of the state.

Not far from Brattleboro VT, or Bellows Falls if those mean anything to you.

"I will NOT install flares on my classic K5!"
Whats an extra 40/50 holes in the side of the truck after the first hole the rest don't hurt as bad. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I've never heard of registering as a historic vehicle, but I'll look into it on Monday. In the meantime, do you have nay more info?
Thanks,
Brian

Yep, I know where Keene is. I am in Orford which is about a half hour north of Hanover.
