for some odd reason i am wanting fender flares down the road, i think they look awesome. i have cut fenders and i like how they are cut and i am wondering if there is too much sheet metal cut off for the fender flares to work. can anyone tell me by these pics if a fender flare will work on my trimmed fenders?

which one of the models are you running? do you like it better with the flares vs just cut fenders?

I know its a little bit of sacriledge, but I am going to be adding a set of YJ or TJ flares to mine. They are a different shape than the ones you buy for full size trucks, (which wont fit cut fenders anyways). Just find a Heep guy who is running those wide 6" flares, and ask him how much he wants for his old ones... a couple guys around here sold em for like 50 bucks for the 4.

I am running the set on the bottom. Allowed me to drill a few holes in the fenders and flares and attach them that way. Very flexible and I am not worried if I smack it on an obstacle. I had to run the flares to conform to state laws or atleast in an attempt to.

Here is a pic of them on the truck.
