I will be replacing my inner and outer rockers soon and wanted to know if it would be a good idea to remove the front fenders or possibly the whole front clip? If so, how hard of a job is it? Thanks in advance.

I will be installing a 2" body lift around the same time so the radiator bolts would have to be removed anyway.

Leave it all on there, just take the rad out unplug the wireing from the engine and then unplug the wireing from the firewall, I think you just have to take out one bolt and it will pulloff the fuse block.

Two guys should lift the clip off easy.

This is all new to me. I'm tryingto repair rust in the cab corners and I'm finding out I have to dismantle the whole front end. Bummer. It's becoming a bigger project than I anticipated.

I'm just happy I'm moving forward and getting it started after sitting for so long. It will all be worth it once it's done but some days it just seems so overwhelming. I wasn't expecting so much extra work to repair some rust but I guess I'm not a body man either. I'll post pics once I really get started tearing into it. I'm sure I'll have tons of questions.

Yeah I should be posting pics of my rust removeing skills.

The removeing is fun, the replaceing is a pain.
I wish I was good at welding upside down.:doah:
