Fender hack 101 (not trim)

OK, my fenders are quickly becoming beat up, Carnage Gultch (BV) just made it a lot worse so I went a head and trimed them a little to help keep them off the rocks.

Until I get around to doing something drastic this "should" work fine /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif

Here is what I started with, one semi loose flap in the wind fender:

I had to use a hi-lift to bend it back where it used to be, don't laugh it worked:

Pretty much back to normal but it would have been ripped completly off the next time out:

I slapped some duct tape on to help guide my sawzall with surgeon like precision:

After cutting both innner and outer sheet metal, the inside was a little bit of a pain but not to bad, kind of fun actualy:

The finished product after a little black paint to the underside and a new bling CK5 sticker.

hey, nice rig. What size tires are those? 42" TSL's? and what about your lift?

Thank's, all together it has 5" in the front and 6" in the back, those are 39.5's though.
 
correct if Im wrong havent you been running 42s /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif and just narrow or truggy that thing
