Fender hacking...the M715 look....anyone?? photo inside

I have been thinking a lot about fender hacking lately. One image that keeps coming to mind is the Kaiser-Jeep M715 with its huge fender openings and the flat metal flares. I am trying to picture how it would look to radius my fenders to the same height and width front and rear and weld on the flat metal flares to give me the tire coverage I need to pass WV inspection. Right now I have 2"+2" on my K5 so I figure I could run 38"s with my M715 fender openings. Have any of you radiused out your fenders like I am talking about. I think in order to get the perfectly round opening, I may have to fill in the top corners a little with flat metal. I you have any pictures of something similar, please post them, or if you are really good with photo shop like I know some of you are, could you make me a drawing of what I am talking about? anywho, there are some peeps with fenders cut like that. im sure they will post up, as i cant remember who it is.
it doesnt look bad at all.

OK, I know I saw somebody on the site a while back with either a K10 or a K5 that was in black primer and had the fenders radiused out. Anyone know who that is? I'd love to see that photo again. Thanks.

Damn Shaggy's truck is awsome! that trim job is sweet too. trimmed like that with M715'ish flares would be cool, i think thats the treatment the CUCV will be gettin.............

I played around with Paint a little and here's what I came up with. Killer, right? I might even be able to bigger than 38x14.50s /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif It really makes my 35x12.50s look tiny!
