i just cut my front fenders in my 75 and now how do i cap the gap that is left between the fender skins? what have you guys used?
thanks

nuttn. but i guarentee i took off more fender than you.
you can/could have left the outter lip longer then the inner and then shrink and roll it over. then weld it up.
you just weld in a plate and trim/grind it smooth.
or search on fender trimming for a bunch of pics of a bunch of other methods

SOMEBODY HERE BOUGHT THE LIP FROM JCWHITNEY AND WELD AND SMOOTHED IT OUT .(sorry).... looked really good and professional, but its a lot of work! I just left mine.

Just take the inner fender out! Solves the problem all together! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Problem is without a lip it will shake like hell from wind, vibration of the road, etc... that is why I made a lip on mine and welded them together.
