Fender trim guide: Yunit?

I'm triming my fenders and trying to find his guide for where to cut, i've searched and can't find anything. Thanks
 
I've got them at home, if noone else puts them up I'll post them this evening.

What's the difference??? The entire front setup (fenders, wheelwells, etc...) are identical between a Blazer and a truck, and I'm pretty sure the dimensions are the same for the rear fenders also.
 
Sorry, I don't have any for a truck, I would say just cut the front section first and use it as a template for the rear. Happy hacking!:D

They're just detailed templates for big fender cuts as opposed to the usual lower corner trim.

My answer... sort of. Iirc, I backed off the measurements just a hair so I could retain the upper horizontal row of fender liner bolt holes. With the Yunit cut you can't run the liners at all so I didn't go quite as high.

What basically did was follow the lines of the factory lip / flare on the upper 1/3 to cut out the lip and then extend the downward lines outward from center to open the wheelwell more. I think I used an old coffee can to trace a smooth radius on the upper corners, everything was cut free hand with a die grinder. The down side is the lower rear of the fender is loose so while it doesn't flap around like it's going to fall off it isn't rigid like stock.

Yeah the liners i think would be good to keep.

My guide to doing this entails taking out a big F'ing grinder with a nice new cutoff wheel on it...throw the gloves/glasses/earmuffs on....turn up Metallica's "Enter Sandman" so it can be heard with said earmuffs on, and go to town on that biznitch! :grind:

But some don't like how much I've cut off the old K5, so what do I know :ignore:



In all seriousness...this isn't rocket science, just take your time and it will turn out fine
 
Can anyone get me a pic of the template cut? Minus the measurements.

You mean the Yunit pics? Once upon a time there were pics of his truck here but not sure there were good, straight on shots of the fenders.
