ok ive been giving this much thought. instead of going with a large lift to fit tires i could go with say a 4-6 inch lift to fit 37's. i plan on trimming the fenders and junk but was wondering if anybody had a suburban or othe lwb rig with the same amount of lift and 33-37" tires. also any tips on trimming would be nice. thanx

dude check out my webshots i ran 4" and 36" TSLs for a long time but my springs are kinda stiff (procomps). i added a 2" body a little later and havent rubbed since. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif

me? i took 2.5" off the back side and like 1.5 or 2" off the front.

I have a 4 inch suspention lift and 3 inch body life. I run 36" tsl's and use to rub the frount on full compression so I bought those off road unlimited frount shackels and now very rarley rub. I recomend those shackels as a nessesary upgrade even if you dont thrash on your rig much. The stock ones I pulled off look ok while they were on but were bent to hell when I took them off. Anyway I dont have the fenders trimed and so far so good.

As it has been discussed here, be careful trimming the front inner fenders as the ac lines to the rear run through there.

i dont need ac. i have 5 windows i can roll down and it doesnt get extre /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifmly hot here.
