what do you think is best treatment for fender wells?

I here the bed liners like Rhino and LineX aren't the best because dirt and mud sticks so well to them.

For newer trucks you can buy aftermarket plastic liners (RuggedLiner). This sounds good because it wont Dent, Rust and scratches don't show very well. It would also help keep mud out of the inner body work. I really hate trying to get under the truck and blow the mud out of all those corners and pockets. But I hate knowing its there even more.

Rugged Liner refers to the 99-07 trucks as Classic :haha:

Don't really have an external solution for you.
Whats your end goal (noise, dirt reduction)?

Both lol.
I'm going to do some heavy sound deadening on the cab.

I was looking at the wheel wells on my work truck (08 f-250) and they are some type of compressed fiber. They probably fill both roles, maybe I can grab some from the bone-yard and make them fit.

See if you can locate some left over bed liner material for a dump truck.
It's heavy duty and designed to keep mud from sticking.

I'm just going to wire wheel mine with a 4.5" angle grinder and shoot them with rubberized paint (bed liner in a spray can).

Is it the same as the liner in an end dump. I can get some but I think its pretty stiff stuff. we used it for beaching jetskies, real slippery

Yep same stuff. It comes in various thicknesses. The thinner ones will obviously be more flexible.

I'd probably try making one out of cardboard to use as a template so you can cut it right the first time.

Just called to get a price. Its 25$ per foot of 8ft wide roll for 1/4 in black. Its just HDPE so I'm thinking its the same stuff plastic barrels are made of.

SuperSlide is what its called
