asked for 1980 Ford F-250 front shock towers. was told they are about 20 bucks. so good and cheap. i am sure the ruff stuff ones are nice, thats a lot of coin.

I know what you are running into. it is an obsolete part and my furd guy had to get them from another source but were easily obtained. You are just dealing with the everyday parts Idiot that will not go the extra mile to get a part cuz it is not in front of him poking him on the nose saying here I am. I deal with it every day. one of my friends works ar furd and had the part in my hand next day.

P.S. The Mom and Pop parts store next to the shop will get or find me anything and they know their stuff.

rocklogic.com lists them in the suspension section. i can't remember where else i've seen them and it was just earlier today!!!

I saw this thread and it was driving me crazy. I saw these somewhere today too, but couldn't remember where for the life of me.... until now.

It looks like they only carry the stamped ones though (not cast).

Check with any of the local off-road suspension shops that do ford superduty lifts - they chunk those things out in the scrap bin all the time when their customers go to dual shocks, etc.

The part number for the stamped style is:

E5TZ 18183A , don't know the number for the cast style.

This is where I ordered mine from a couple of years ago. They arrived pretty quick too.

looked at the link. there is two upper shock mounts. 250 and 350. both the same? there is no pics either. pretty cheap too. thanks

No differences, notice they haven the same part numbers. I ordered my stamped style from them and they are like all the others.
