can i use ANYTHING off of my 3/4 ton 10bolt (tie rod, drag link, trackbar)?

do i need trackbar?

also, reguarding 1 ton rear, i am replacing my 14SF and was wondering if i HAD to move the perches on the FF

thanks for the help, got em on the side of the garage and waiting for some fairly warmer weather ta git goin. ordered up the ubolts and and steering block and im PUMPED!! trying ta do some homework 1st..

I used both my draglink and my tierod, but your results may vary. I had to shorten it just a bit.

Trackbar is not required for a leaf spring set up, but you can run one if designed properly.

If the 14BFF is from a 1 ton truck and going into a 3/4 or 1/2 ton yes you need to move the perches.

so it sounds like you can use your 10 bolt tie rod and no need for a track bar. both good news. i think im gonna pull my sway bar too. who needs it. and all you gotta do is push the perches in. get em on!! werd!

I also replied thinking crossover in my head as far as the draglink goes. If you are swapping over stock stuff the draglink should work, but the tie rod may not have enough adjustment. My stuff was all aftermarket so I was able to cut the tube and thread the TRE's in all the way.

k sounds good guys, ill reuse draglink, and i guess its really just a matter of weather or not the tie rod is swappable or not, and not gunna know til i do the conversion prolly. Gunna stay with push/pull steering 4now.

anyone happen to know if i can "for sure" reuse the tie rod?
...simply cuz i would like to do all my ordering now:smirk:

rocknerd, trash the swaybar i say, lets meet up this weekend and go through chit.

measure your 10b tie rod, i measured my d60 tie rod the other day and its 56" center to center of the ball joints.
