NJ for now
when into ny state with a friend. found this truck.
here is what we know.
90 dually 4x4 crew cab.
FI 454 th400/ 205 152k

runs great. no smoke or anything. for how big and heavy it it. you hit the gas, you move. drives great. brakes were just done front and back. has two tanks. one is new, other leaks. tires are in great shape.

only bad thing is the rust. chassis has some. no rust through. body has rust above all 4 wheel wheels. floors are ok. no holes. if he stops it now. i think it would be fine.

wanted 1700. he got it to 1300. wish i had pics to show.

hes thinking this is to much now. he told his girl friend about it. first mistake.

anyway, what do you guys think??

If it were local I would be all over it. EFI BBC, D60, D70HD, t-400/205...Those parts alone are worth $3000 in my market.

To be clear though I would not part it, That is my dream truck. Save the 454/400/205 for another project & add a 6BT/4500/205.

been reading that this truck might have 3.73 gears. could that be true?

Very well could be.. a lot of trucks had them. Look for the GT4 code on the glovebox sheet.

hes getting it. for the price how can you go wrong. i will look thanks

You mean somthing like this. The only difference is this has a 4L80E

i bought my K30 crew cab out of Orange County, NY not too far away from NYC last February for $1425, with a plow... it needed front floors and all rocker panels, so yeah $1300 is a good price for any K30...

Sweet, looks good. You going to keep those running boards? Those and the custom paint are the only things that don't look great!

If that's a '90 then somebody has performed a lot of parts swapping. Just with a real quick glance the front grille/headlight assembly and steering wheel are all pre-'89 versions.

Somebody swapping the grille doesn't surprise me if the stock one was damaged, but somebody going to the trouble of swapping in a stock older model steering wheel?

truck had a accident. a 91 clip was cheaper so he put that on. the old wheel was a tilt and very lose. he put this one in to replace it.
