simple google or yahoo search with model # gives good new prices and ebay for other good prices.

tire machines and balencers kind of iffy. lots of times 3-4 year old is hard to get parts for as thay change so much.

and you never know, most tire machines are not well maintained. They should be oiled just like any air tools and when was the last time you saw one get oiled? That is of course assuming the tire machine is an air unit.

wouldnt offer more than $500/piece if the balancer is not a computerized unit

A shop I used to help out at part time in exchange for parts at cost had Both of those units. The Tirechanger worked very well. The balancer worked well and was easy enough to use, although I rarely balanced tires.

I will say those look like they havnt been used lightly. Gerhts tire machine didnt have any rust on it to speak of. Im sure it still works find but use that to your haggling advantage

thanks, will see how it goes. they are at my place now. trying to help him out a bit. he was forced out of business. he has 3 lifts to. all 3 are pretty much new. wish i had the funds for a newer one
