Whenever im out fouwheeling when I get my truck xed up real good sometimes I have a hard time getting the doors open. Have any of you guys experienced this problem? If you have what have you dont to help fix the problem or is this something I will have to deal with forever?

The next question I have is my rear window will not roll down when I use my Key on the external switch. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so how did you go about fixing this problem? Its just a pain to have to go inside to roll the rear window down when all I need to do is grab something quick.

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone is able to give me.

easy answer: Remove doors
Well I would do this but where I live there is alot of mud and I dont want to get all that mud inside and this is also my Daily Driver. But Besides that Im sure it will work. Thanks

on my 77 i had the same problem, someone replaced the striker bolts, but they were too far towards the weatherstripping of the door frame opening, and were slanted due to warping of the pillar metal they are mounted to

so i took a 3lb hammer and bashed them outwards a bit

fixed it

doors work and open great now

a BFH saves the day once again

first make sure they are lined up verticlaly with the opening of the door latches before bashing them

good luck

A good cage fixes the door not opening problem...befoe my cage if I got it all crossed up nothing would open, not the doors or the tailgate. Now it all works no matter how crossed up it is.
