Nothing too crazy just went out with a buddy couple weekends ago in the rain. It was a fun day minus wheeling in two wheel drive.

Disclaimer: The picture with the gate is completely legal. The road is gated to keep Subarus off the service road. The trail goes around the gate, and we were wheeling in/on a State ORV area.

Couple pics in the parking lot. My buddy just picked up this Yota.

I got pretty twisted up going in here. Spring wrap with the 52's up front cause the joint to bind at the driveshaft and take out the yoke. This pic is of me coming out..the line going in is harder.

Here is the breakage :(

Took the shaft off and got the winch remote out. :D

Up the trail a ways. I did fairly well in 2WD. Just have to bump it on those wet tree roots.

Couple pics of the hole where we turned around. My buddy had a hard time with the climb out of this one with 4wd so I chose not to tear stuff up trying to go farther.

Dan took a little damage trying it.

I slid off the trail at one point coming down. Slippery mud and brakes. Had to winch to the side to continue.

And a final little poser shot coming out. Fun day over all even in the rain:D

Dang, that breakage looks expensive. What size joint was that?

Did you get those 37s from me?

Or am I thinking of a different MTBlazer dood :D

No but my buddy in Nevada bought a set from you. U used to live down there and then in central Cali.

Just the stock size 1310 IIRC. I'm hoping I can just have a new yoke welded on.

Wish I got out this weekend . Spent Saturday working and today picking up axles and tires :D

Anyway , why didn't you throw your spare shaft on there :wink1:

Don't have a spare front anymore since I did the 52's. They all come up short. I'm going to build a square spare now :wink1:
