Fiberglass Body?

Anyone know of a source for fiberglass bodies? Is it outrageously expensive?

Yeah $5,000 is expensive... but the funny thing is if someone cherried out a Blazer with one of those and a whole build up it'd still probably cost half of what a new truck costs and could outwheel any of them too!

I thought about it a while back...but fiberglass breaks and cracks. At least steel is somewhat structural and can be hammered back into shape.

I sure would like the lighter weight though!

There used to be a place that advertised in the back of the mags with a reinforced tub for $3500, but i haven't seen an ad in a while.
