fiberglass body

for the price of a glass body, you can fully restore a rusted body. unless you're really after weight savings, its not worth the cost.

my quarters and all my sub pannels are COMPLETLY gone along with the entire windshield trim, and both sides of my door jams. so i spent teh money/time to fix it, seal all the welds, hope that the salt water and air in FL dont eat away at it faster tahn ten years and then im right back where i am now. if i go fiberglass.... i wont have to touch it again. thats why i want to do it. im wokring with a guy whos done a few restorations of blazers and broncos and this is what he thought was best for teh long run too.

i guess in flordia you dont have much more than sand and swamps to wheel in, but here in socal or on any rocks glass isnt a good idea to wheel on...
give me a little while ill find the link to a good cheap fiberglass tub

only problem about finding a body to swap with is that any 73-75 body will be in the same condition as mine. 76 and up arn't the full convertable, and 79 and up has a different floor. so that kinda limits my options as to finding somethign ot do a body swap with.

73k5blazer is just finishing up a badda$$ fiberglass bodied '73! Maybe he'll ring in................:wink1:
