Fiberglass double wall top weight

Greetings fellow 1st gen K5 Blazer owners,

Does any have any idea how heavy our double walled fiberglass tops?
I'm trying to set up a lift system in my garage.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard 300lbs tossed around but I don't know if that is accurate. I'd say F'ing heavy if you're lifting by hand but with any sort of lift system it's pretty light.

Plenty of people have it lifted by just a couple of 2x4's laying flat under it and a few small pulleys up top.

yeah about 300 to 350 LBS my friend and I slid it off the back one guy holding the back hatch and one holding the front and walked it on 2 4x4's on the ground in the corner of my yard. I do recomend if you have a double wall top use a tap and die to clean up the bolts and nuts that are in the top and anti seize them so you dont strip them out and also when taking it off spray the hell out of the bolts let them soak for some time before tempting to take it off. good luck

Thank you. The bolts came out fine, amazingly.
seems like one of the bolts might have been cross threaded previously as, it was loose and only 1/4 screwed in. Planning a winch, pulley and frame to hold the top. I'll post pics when done.
