Getting ready to order everything to do a 1" bodylift / replace the body mounts on my 1973 K10.

Thinking everything through - is there anything I need to do differently with the fuel filler hose or is there enough play to handle the 1" body lift difference?

you can normally pull the hose clamp down and get away with it. The hoses are horizontal, so moving up 1" isn't much

when I did mine, I really wanted to replace the hoses anyway, so I cut the old ones out and threw some new ones on.

One inch shouldn't make a difference unless yours is rotted and ready to break anyway. You can loosen the lower clamp and slide it up a little bit to see if it is going to move too much and lock it back down when you get the lift in.

You could cut it in the middle ans use a muffler adapter or pipe as a splice with 2 clamps,if its too short to just slide it down some too..

Did it a couple weeks ago. It's long enough. Just undo the clamp and retighten when done.

On my K5 I didn't even do that. The only thing I had to do was adjust the transmission and t-case linkages. Something to be prepared for is cutting out any carriage bolts that may break free when loosing the body mount nut. I had this problem in both of my rear mounts, though I suspect it might be different for you with a pick up.

This thread might be of use to you. Maybe. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=308391
