i need the piece that clamps onto the actual tank, should have a 90 in ti and mabe a 45 degree angle. Ive tried everything now, and im getting fed up with it.

I have one still on my stock 71 tank. You mean the metal tube right? Mine is soldered onto the tank so it would need to be "un-soldered".

Since I'm not planning on taking a torch near an old gas tank! :eek1: , I could cut out a section and send it to you that way? (I can fill it with water while cutting with a sawzall.

If you have a new metal tank you can try bending the short neck one direction or the other to get a rubber fill tube on it. That's what I did except I used the plastic tank. Works pretty well.

oright, this is what i need....
